Amy J. Davies

An advocate of radical thinking, Amy is devoted to pushing the envelope in all areas of her career. Recognized in her community as an imaginative costume designer and performance artist, she has had many opportunities to influence people to look at the world through her own unique perspective. In 2005 she was offered a freelance project to create innovative technical sportswear for Nordic Track. The designs were a huge success, and encouraged the company to bring her on as the lead designer and environmental advocate in Shanghai, China to launch a sportswear collection made from natural fibers. In Shanghai, she continued to work as the Design Director and a freelance designer for several sportswear projects including Everlast, Reebok and Gold’s Gym, as well as several fashion labels including INSH, Helen Lee and as costume designer for China DJ Loop, Smirnoff, and Gosney & Kallman’s Chinatown. Amy’s work experiences in China gave her useful insight into international trends, management, manufacturing processes and global business relations.
